How we verify every fee and date
Every fee and processing time on Apostia comes from an official source. Here is how we check it.
1. Start from the official page
For each state, we use the Secretary of State or issuing office page. For destination countries, we use the Hague status table and the consulate or authority that receives the document.
2. Record the date and the source
Each page shows when we last checked the information and links to the source. If we cannot reach the page, we say so and do not update the number.
3. Report disagreements
Official pages sometimes disagree, as Nevada does on processing time. We show the conflict instead of choosing a number.
4. Correct quickly
If you find an error, write to info@apostia.com with the official link. We update the record and its date. The full process is in our methodology and about page.
