About Apostia

Apostia is an independent bilingual (English and Spanish) guide to apostilles in the United States and their use abroad. It is run by Sabrina Perez, a software engineer and content creator based in the United States.

How we verify information

• Fees, addresses, phone numbers and processing times come from the official page of each state's Secretary of State or the issuing office. Each page shows the date we last checked it.
• For destination countries we use the official Hague Apostille Convention status and the consulate or authority pages that receive the document.
• When official sources disagree or do not state a rule, we say so on the page instead of guessing.
